Biodynamic Breathwork for Healing and Trauma Release

A Profound Approach to Embodiment and Breathwork

Biodynamic Breathwork for Healing and Trauma Release

with Somatic Therapist & Breathworker Prema McKeever

October 8 & 9, 2022

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST (Vancouver Time)

The BioDynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release System is a profound and revolutionary approach to embodiment and breathwork that integrates deep connected breathing with specially designed practices to release stress held in your nervous system and expand your capacity to contain and support the free flow of your energy.

If you’re looking to clear the traumatic blockages that affect your mental and physical health, join Prema for this special two-day online workshop that explores the BioDynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release System® 6-Element approach to empower your body’s natural process for healing. You will be supported as you gently move through layers of body tension, discovering where and how past trauma and emotional stress is being stored in your physical body.

Explore the use of breath as the main tool for creating change on the somatic level, along with supporting practices of movement, touch, sound, conscious emotional expression, and meditation.

Releasing our core tension unbinds incredible amounts of energy, which can fuel creativity, improve meditation, and help us live more fully.

It’s incredibly empowering to unlock the stress and trauma patterns
within your body.

Over our weekend together you will discover:

  • Breath and movement techniques to support your body’s natural process to release chronic tension, self-restricting patterns, and emotional trauma — clearing the way for feelings of joy, self-love, and deep relaxation.
  • What “trauma” is and why you might have had a hard time healing from this pain
  • The 6 elements of BioDynamic Breathwork — breath, movement, sound, touch, emotions, and meditation
  • The 7 belts of tension or body segments — ocular, oral, cervical, thoracic, diaphragmatic, abdominal, and pelvic — and how they’re different from the chakras
  • How each belt of tension is linked to specific emotions and learn specific tools to clear these emotional pathways.
  • Effective breathwork techniques to create positive brain changes and emotional regulation – you can calm your mind or energize your body, depending on what is needed
  • Ways to expand your window of tolerance to become more resilient, even in the face of your triggers
  • How to utilize your body’s natural rhythm of moving between the contraction of tension and the expansion of relaxation in a process called pendulation
  • Brief daily practices for ongoing healing in your body, mind, and spirit

Experience breathwork practices, learn valuable information on the anatomy of breathwork and the physiology of trauma, and discover the key role of embodiment and somatic practices in releasing trauma without feelings of overwhelm and drain.

To ensure everyone receives the course material on time, and so that we can support any questions well before the program begins, registration for this program will close 24 hours before the course begins.

This program will be recorded, and recordings and program materials will be made available to participants.
