Human relating takes place in the interplay between female and male essential qualities regardless of your gender identification, your biological sex, or your sexual preference.

We may be aware that the gender roles we have been taught often do not align with our true nature and our longing for connection and autonomy.

In this workshop we will explore inner and outer relationship dynamics. Perceiving male-female dualities as complementary instead of as opposite frees up our essence. Inner resources to navigate our relationships in more fluid and fulfilling ways become available.

Week One

In this first meeting we will explore gender roles and stereotypes. How are we expected to act, speak, dress, groom and conduct ourselves? What do we “need” to be and do in order to be loved and accepted? When we get caught up in stereotypical notions of gender, it can distort our self- image as well as our relationships. That familiar feeling in many of us of “I just don’t fit” points at of how beliefs about ourselves prevent us from being grounded and living our life embodying our own innate essential qualities.

Week Two

In this second meeting ,we will explore and befriend the innate essential qualities of the feminine and masculine, the receptive and the giving sides in us.

In doing so inevitably we will be touching on sexuality. Most of us experienced wounding here. This can inhibit a natural fluidity and ease in experiencing of pleasure in our own bodies.

In becoming aware of and beginning to heal, we open up again and remain present in the body with the full spectrum of aliveness, passion, and drive as well as softness, vulnerability and sensitivity. We’ll explore how both male and female qualities can be “online” in one body.

Week Three

In typical relationship dynamics, we project not only our shadow but also our essence onto the other person. In this third meeting, we will look into the mirror and take our essential qualities back, honoring them in ourselves, and in our partners, friends, family, and any important “other” in our lives. We play with giving and receiving, being and doing. Trusting our inherent goodness we dare to safely explore topics like consent and true respect for oneself and the other.

Week Four

In this final meeting we will come together to deepen the embodiment and awareness of the inner and outer female and male qualities which we have experienced together. We will revisit practical relating tools from earlier modules and recognize the rich aliveness of love when we choose to authentically and autonomously embody the qualities that lie within each of us.

After practicing Zen Buddhism and Sufism for some time, Gita met Osho in 1983.

Gita’s passion for grasping the correlation of ego personality (our strategies and wounds) and of who we truly are (our nature and essence) led her to training in Bioenergetics (A. Lowen), Biodynamic Massage (G. Boyesen), Rebirthing (L. Orr), Psychic Massage, Counseling, Hypnosis, Voice Dialogue, Osho Meditative Therapies, The Art of Dying, and Essence work. The focus of her in-depth training became Developmental Trauma Healing, Systemic Constellations (B. Hellinger), energy work and meditation (Osho Academy), early and adult attachment (D. Siegel and D. Poole-Heller) and Somatic Experiencing™️ (P. Levine).

Since the nineties, Gita has been creating and leading conscious touch trainings, primal and tantra intensives, residential retreats for women, and mentoring somatic psychotherapists and meditation teachers worldwide.
