An Important Update from Path Retreats

As you are all aware, there has been a recent outbreak of a new, infectious coronavirus called COVID-19.

Your health and well-being is of utmost importance to us, and we want to reassure you that we are carefully monitoring the situation on a daily basis.

So that everyone who is coming to Path of Love can do so with a sense of comfort and ease, we are asking all of our participants and staff members to please declare, 21 days before Path of Love, if they or a family member/member of the household, have recently traveled to China, Italy, South Korea, Iran, Japan or to any of the regions affected by the coronavirus. We are also asking each person if they have been in contact with someone with a confirmed or suspected case of coronavirus.

Before Traveling:

Please take the utmost caution before traveling, and consider the following:

  • If you have recently visited, or reside in, China, Italy, South Korea, Iran or Japan: At least 24 days without symptoms must have passed since leaving the above-mentioned areas before you can attend Path of Love.
  • Before traveling from another country or area that has reported cases of the coronavirus: Assess whether you have been in contact with someone who has the symptoms, or someone who recently returned from a high risk area, or who was at risk of exposure to the virus. At least 24 days without symptoms must have passed since the exposure before you can attend Path of Love.
  • If you have pre-existing medical conditions, please consult with your doctor before traveling.

Additional General Health Precautions

To limit exposure and risk, the World Health Organization recommends the following:

  • Frequently clean hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water;
  • When coughing and sneezing cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue – throw tissue away immediately and wash hands;
  • Avoid close contact with anyone who has fever and cough;
  • If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing seek medical care early and share previous travel history with your healthcare provider;

During Path of Love

We ask all participants to assess their own condition and to remain in your accommodation with the door closed if you are feeling sick in any way. If you have symptoms we will assist you to call the local hotline to self-report and learn what to do next. For the safety of all participants, our team may restrict entry for those who are coughing, have shortness of breath, fever, sneezing, or otherwise displaying known symptoms of a viral illness. Thank you for your understanding.

Additionally, during the Path of Love to ensure your well-being and a safe environment:

  • The temperature of each person will be measured during a medical screening at the welcome check-in.
  • Each Path of Love has a volunteer on staff responsible for medical care.
  • Regular surface disinfection will be done during the group.
  • During Path of Love, we require:
    • Regular hand washing (for 30 seconds minimum, washing up to the wrist…tops and bottoms, fingertips and under nails).
      Covering mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue when sneezing and coughing.
    • Immediate disposal of used tissues.
    • After sneezing or coughing into tissue, washing hands straightaway (as described above) or wipe with alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
    • No sharing of food or drinks.
    • As an additional measure, we encourage you to build your immune systems with supplements well before coming to POL. Please also bring a supply of whatever is needed in that regard for during the process.

Thank you for taking the time to read through these guidelines.

We take great care for the health and well-being of our participants and staff. It is our commitment to provide the best possible environment for our retreats, so you can join us with a sense of peace and relaxation.

We wish you the very best for easy travels…and we look forward to welcoming you at Path of Love.
