What is the Essential Man?
Explore the fundamental nature of your essential being, through Strength, Purpose and Commitment.
In this 4- week course we will take an in-depth look at how we show up in each of these areas, and how we can transform ourselves as confident loving men in a space of strength and true power, living our purpose and commitment.
Join Avinash and Samved as they lead you through a combination of inquiry, specially designed exercises, movement, meditation and sharing.
Week 1: True Strength
What is true strength? What is true power?
In this first week, we will investigate and explore these two questions. So often as men we struggle with these issues and alternate between being too much and over dominating or collapsing and losing ourselves into self-doubt and self-criticism.
In this session, we will begin to land, embody, and claim the foundation of masculine strength, essence, and power, and learn how we can embody these qualities to create a relaxed ease and confidence in ourselves and in the way we operate in the world
Week 2: True Purpose
What is our purpose in life? What exactly are we here for?
In the area of purpose, we often flounder between values that have been laid on us from outside ourselves, from family, our ancestral heritage, or from our culture, and we lose the sense of direction and purpose that inspires us and touches our heart with intensity.
In this session we will look each to discover and see as men, what is our purpose in life, and what exactly are we here for. We will inquire, investigate and learn to find the purpose and values that are deeply organic within ourselves. We will investigate how this purpose can grow, expand, and inspire our actions as we move through the ages of our life.
Week 3: True Commitment
Commitment is a word we often shy away from or feel controlled by, yet authentic and true commitment can help us navigate in powerful ways the challenges that life often brings. In this session we will take a very strong and sobering look at our unconscious commitments, and how these sometimes hidden habitual actions and ways of being cause harm and sabotage our intentions, relationships and the best efforts we may make to become more authentic and loving men.
Once we examine, feel and expose these unconscious commitments we can move from a place of blame and victim to a place of agency, authorship and positivity and we can take responsibility for ourselves and our actions. We then can begin to touch and discover our authentic, deep and true commitment as men to ourselves and to life. Once discovered this is something that will stay with us always.
Week 4: The Essential Man
To come together as men engaged consciously in becoming an expression of life, and to share that in a circle of brothers is one of the most grounding and rewarding experiences we can have as men. In this session we will bring forward the work and learning we have done around the areas of Strength, Purpose, and Commitment and will examine, share and be real with each other, sharing our challenges, our difficult parts of the life process, and our love, as a way to connect with our true essence.
Our on-line courses have been designed as unique, one-time live offerings from our Leaders, and recordings of modules will not be available. Thank you for understanding, and enjoy the live course!
