A Five-Part Live, Online Course Taught by Path Retreats Founders, Turiya Hanover and Rafia Morgan
In these times of pandemic, uncertainty and change, it is a critical moment for ourselves, for our loved ones and for life on this planet to learn to consciously navigate and apply our inherent capacities of love.
In this process we will explore and experience 5 very profound aspects of Love.
As we inquire into our true nature and the various ways that love manifests and can be known, we find that this commonly used word actually includes many distinctly different aspects and Dimensions of Love which can be precisely recognized and known, experienced and embodied.
We will inquire, as always, into resolving various issues which may be preventing us from embodying these capacities and bathe in the beauty of our experience, embodiment and realisation.
In each part there will meditations, teaching, inquiry and if possible, time for questions and answers.
It is essential in transformational inner work to recognise, distinguish and embody the true capacity of our heart’s potential.
The Five Dimensions we will explore are:
Week One: Personal Love — The Pink Essence
Pink love is a form of personal love. It is a dimension of love which is very sweet, delicate, light, innocent and appreciative. When your heart opens to pink love you feel great appreciation for yourself, others and the world around you. In the Pink you recognize that the love you feel that is usually directed outwards is actually inside your own heart and is melting you from within, dissolving you from the inside in such a way that you feel happy, carefree and spontaneous with a feeling connection to the world around you in such a delightful and appreciative way that you cannot help but want others to be happy too.
Week Two: Merging Gold Love
One very beautiful aspect of love is a deep golden melting quality that feels like warm liquid flowing inside us. This aspect is known as Merging Love Merging Gold. When we experience this state we lose the sense of separation between ourselves and our environment. We feel very close to ourselves, to another and to the world. In this state the rigid boundaries and shielding around our heart melts away into a state much like when a child merges with mother’s breast and experiences the other as part of him or her self. Merging love brings about a deep sense of contentment and satisfaction which soothes and melts tensions in the body and the nervous system. There is an innate feeling of togetherness in a sweet and relaxed way. The sweetness of the feeling is like honey, but lighter and even more delicate.
Week Three: The Pomegranate – Ishq. Ecstatic Passionate Love
This is a state of ecstatic passionate love, surrender and celebration of God or the Source. This deep state of experience and let-go brings rapture and absorption into Passionate Love and Devotion. The Pomegranate is often known as the wine of the soul.
“Ishq, is a passionate love for God and is not of the personality. It is an aspect of the Essence. It comes from your center. From the very ground of your Being it arises and possesses you. It is not within your control; on the contrary, you are in it’s control. Yes, you are drunk and you are mad.” – Osho
Week Four: Black Love and Issues of Surrender
This is the realm of deepest inner Peace; a powerful state of Love and surrender that is bathed in the luminous beauty of the Silent Night, the Holy Night. Here Love is experienced as the deepest quality of intimacy and stillness as our separate ego identity is gently erased to reveal the richness and Peace of our inner Being.
Of course this state of surrender, which also feels like a certain kind of death to the ego, can bring up old issues of abandonment, betrayal and negativity which takes time to resolve and metabolise. Even so, the Black Love is always very close to us and is available for us to experience, bathe in and remember as it is part of our True Nature.
Week Five: Living Daylight and Prayer
The dimension called Living Daylight or Universal Love is a quality of our True Nature. When you experience it you recognise Living Daylight is everywhere, inside and outside as a force of infinite eternal presence which permeates the whole Universe. It is the Divine Source emanating itself as a beautiful light, as unconditional love and acceptance. The experience when this dimension is there is that you know in your bones that this Universe is benevolent, loving and kind and you feel a basic trust that everything is going to be ok and unfold in exactly the right way. You Trust. You are Home.
In this part we will discover how prayer can open up our sensitivity to Living Daylight.
Our on-line courses have been designed as unique, one-time live offerings from our Leaders, and recordings of modules will not be available. Thank you for understanding, and enjoy the live course!
